Abstract
The aim of this thesis is pointed at theoretical description of an induction machine in motoric as well as in generatoric mode of operation. Deeper point of this paper aims on the usage of an induction machine for electricity production purposes and needed prerequisites for connecting said machine into the commercial power grid or operation in an off-grid regime. This paper also contains discoveries obtained by practical realization of phasing an induction generator into the grid and simulation of phasing in ATP-EMTP software, along with the design and calculation of substitute scheme for simulation itself and capacitor battery needed for excitation of the machine. Comparison and evaluation of experimentally obtained data with simulated ones are made in the summary of this paper.
