Abstract
The thesis is focused on the analysis of the purchase and suppliers in Dopravní podnik Ostrava, a.s. There are described theoretical resources of the issue of purchase and suppliers and basic characteristics of analyzed company in the thesis. Further we concentrate on describing of the purchase and valuation system of the transport company. Analyse leads to proposals of possible ways to simplify or clarification of problematic areas.
