Abstract

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of financial analysis of a company in the construction industry. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to conduct financial analysis for a specific company for the period of 2017-2021. The analysis will be carried out using selected tools of financial analysis, specifically the analysis of balance sheet indicators, followed by the analysis of working capital, ratio indicators including productivity. A breakdown of return on equity will be performed. The results of partial indicator analyses are summarized into overall recommendations for the selected company, which revealed that the company should also focus on alternative financing methods other than equity capital. Another recommendation for the company was to reduce its excessive liquidity, for example, by investing in capital markets, which would bring certain benefits to the company. Overall, the company's financial health is at a very good level.
