Abstract

The topic of the bachelor’s thesis is the structural assessment of the main load-bearing elements of a two-storey brick masonry house. The thesis is based on an existing building‘s project documentation. It was necessary to redesign the construction to meet the valid Europian standards‘ requirements. The thesis includes determination of loads, structural analysis, assessment of particular design’s options and appraisal of results. The content of the thesis is also drawing documentation which is comprised of six drawings.
