Abstract

Based on government regulation No. 406/2004 Coll. are managers of power plant Počerady responsible to create conditions for safe operations and safe using of machines, transport equipments, devices and tools. Safety at all levels is highest priority for the company. The aim of this thesis is description and analysis of current steps to reduce dust levels of coal dust as well as steps to reduce carbon monoxide in workplaces within operation of coal handling which is part of power plant. Especially I will focus on using of medium-pressure and high-pressure sprinkling of coal dumps implemented on coal conveying paths. Further I will focus on technology of automatic ventilation of carbon monoxide and other harmful substances from air mass of underground storages.
