Abstract

The thesis deals with the issue of 1920‘s historical building‘s energy modernization. The building’s street facade is protected by the conservation organization, it will be therefore internally insulated with modern capillary active materials, without a vapor barrier, and "normal" ETICS thermal insulation systems from the court view of the building. In the first part of the thesis there is a description of the current constructional and technical solutions to the building and design of the energy measures. In the second part we will learn about the materials that were once used to carry out internal insulation and confront them with modern materials for interior insulation without a vapor barrier. The following part focuses on the new simulation methods for the calculation of moisture balance that allow precise 2D calculations taking into account the spread of non–stationary moisture in sorption materials. The last section deals with design solutions to critical details in regard to meeting the normative requirements of the amount of condensate generated in the structure. The building‘s energy assessment according to ČSN 73 05 40–2 2011 is enclosed to the thesis. Complete project documentation of the object is also part of the dissertation.
