Abstract
The aim of this diploma thesis is to present the possibility of processing energetics data with the help of the VBA language. The first chapters deal with energetics from the global point of view. Energy sources in the EU and especially in the Czech Republic are discussed here. In the next chapters, database systems and the VBA language are described. The last part of the thesis deals with the possibility of using the program MS Excel 2010 for entering and viewing data and storing them in the databse system SQL Express 2008 R2. A solution for small businesses is described here with a design of input and output reports.
