Abstract

The subject of this thesis is to analyze the competitive environment using external and internal analysis, to assess the current state of the competitive environment and to recommend an appropriate option strategy that can be helped to the possibility of successful future development to increase competitiveness. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the various basic concepts, methods of analysis defined macro and micro environment of the company. These methods include PEST analysis, Porter's five forces model and SWOT analysis. In the practical part, these methods are applied to a specific manufacturing company. Thanks to the analyzes are at the end of the proposed recommendations for the management of the company.
