Vliv tepelného namáhání na útlum optických vlnovodů z polydimethylsiloxanu.

Abstract

The goal of this thesis is to analyze the influence of the thermal load on attenuation of optical waveguides made from the polymer polydimethlysiloxane (PDMS). The beginning of this thesis is dedicated to describing how the light works in optical fibers and optical parameters of PDSM, which are very similar to silicon fibres. In practical part is described experimental production of optical waveguides, design of measuring scheme for measure attenuation of optical waveguides after long term thermal load with 100°C for diffrent wavelengths. The data were statistically and graphically evaluated on dependencies for each used wavelengths.
