Abstract

This thesis aims to find ways of optimum marketing communications for Faculty of Economics, Technical University of Ostrava. Marketing research was conducted by Focus group at the first-year students, which was supplemented by a questionnaire survey. The purpose of the work is to define recommendations and suggestions, leading to more effective marketing communications Faculty of Economics. At first was described Faculty of Economics, Technical University of Ostrava, its history, communication and surroundings. The theoretical part includes evidence relating to marketing in the nonprofit sector, marketing of schools, marketing communications and student recruitment. The analytical part follows up with the research, the evaluation of the gathered data and proposals and recommendations that would streamline the marketing faculty communication and influence the future students in selecting a college.
