Abstract

The Diploma thesis named ''Biological treatment of industrial wastewater with nitrate content'' deals with the possibilities of industrial waste water treatment with nitrate content on the biological wastewater treatment unit of Industrial chemical plant. Thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part is devoted to description of biological treatment including the most frequently used types of activation processes. The second part deals with the description of biological wastewater treatment plant in the area chemical plant and the third section describes the experimental reduction of nitrate pollution, including an evaluation and discussion of the results.
