Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to make a study of possible directions of the use of augmented reality technology in the protection of the population based on the findings. This immersive technology takes advantage of modern imaging capabilities by supplementing real-world imagery with a layer of digital data, thus providing the user with a perception of the real environment enriched with personally undetectable information. Public protection is a sector where augmented reality can be used not only to make it more attractive and to increase the interest in it among civilians, but also has the potential to use augmented reality to make the implementation of individual tasks more efficient in the field of activities aimed at the maximum possible protection of the life and health of the population of the state.
