Abstract
This Master's thesis is focused on the description and problems of one of the methods of direct torque control of permanent magnet synchronous motor. The practical part includes the design and implemention of an algorithm based on this method into a digital signal processor control system TMS320F28335 and creation of a user interface for easy control and setting of variables. The thesis also deals with a more detailed description of programs, Code Composer Studio and LabVIEW, which were used for this realization. The results of the project are verified by measuring on a synchronous motor in a lab at VSB-TUO.
