Ekologicko-faunistická charakteristika stejnonožců (Isopoda) ve městě

Abstract

The submitted bachelor´s thesis is the result of the study of Isopoda. It considers mainly about an ecology of isopods, where the big attention is devoted to the terrestrial isopods, which occur in the urban environment. This thesis has retrieval charakter primarily, but it is also supplied with own general research, that was carried out besides collecting of informations. The theoretical part treats of the morfology of isopods and also elucidates their intracorporal anatomy concisely. Another unit of the theoretical part is the description of families of isopods, which emerge in Slovakia. The most important chapter of this thesis is the part about the ecology of isopods, that clear up an occurrence of isopods and a form of their life. The practical part is general and it is instrumental for better understanding of life of isopods thanks to the direct contact with them. Own researching took place in the area of the village Smrdáky, in the west of Slovakia. The collecting of individuals was realize throught the pitfall traps and collecting by hand. Help to different characters of particular localities, it was possible to observe the dependence of isopods on the environment and also on factors that impact their occurrance in the urban environment.
