Analýza dlouhodobě nevyužívaných objektů v centru města Ostravy a návrhy na jejich znovuvyužití

Abstract

This thesis is focused on unused buildings in city center of Ostrava, possible suggestions for their use and involvement in city running. The first part of the thesis deals with the history of the city of Ostrava and the events that influenced the formation of the city center. In the next part are selected specific unused objects, their state in history and nowadays. In the final part are described the aspects influencing the functioning of the city center, the possible ways of recovery mentioned on specific examples.
