Analýza evakuace z prostor památkově chráněného objektu

Abstract

The master’s thesis addresses the issue of evacuating people from the Ostrava House of Arts. The theoretical part summarizes the specifics of evacuating people from heritage-protected buildings. Furthermore, the building of the House of Arts is introduced in terms of its history, architectural design and fire safety. In the practical part, a simulation of people's evacuation is conducted using Pathfinder software. Based on the simulations, organizational recommendations are proposed to enhance the efficiency of the evacuation process. These recommendations are subsequently implemented into the actual operation of the facility and verified through a fire drill. In the conclusion of the thesis, the worst-case evacuation scenario is simulated and analyzed.
