Bytový dům v Ostravě-Přívoze

Abstract

Thesis "Apartment house in Ostrava-Přívoz" is processing a project documentation for construction work according to the bachelor thesis assignment. The content of the thesis is a design of a residential building, which is part of the newly designed complex near the Ostrava Main Station. Besides the apartment building there will be also situated museum of Ostrava Public Transport Company, office buiding with parking house, education center and a small department store. I decided to design a four-store basementless building, the first floor will be reserved for two commercial units and will be reduced in order to create parking spaces. In the remaining three floors will be located 12 residental units. Due to cardinal directions the building is divided symmetricaly into two parts, each of them has its own entrance and staircase.
