Abstract

The subject of this diploma thesis is to write up project documentation for construction of a nursing home and kitchen, including the design of heating, ventilation, and hot water heating. Heating of the building is achieved by the use of large area radiant floor heating and steel panel heaters. The heating distribution is done by means of two-pipe distribution. A pair of condensation furnaces is used as a heat source. Heating of hot water will be carried out by means of two indirect heating stationary storage tanks. Ventilation in the building is designed as equal air pressure and will be provided by two air handling units located in the building. The diploma thesis consists of a text part, drawing part and appendices to the project documentation.
