Abstract

ŠUSTALOVÁ, Valentýna: Administrative Building Vítkovice, Ostrava, 2026, Bachelor's Thesis, VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Architecture. Supervisor of the bachelor's thesis: Ing. arch. Pavel Řihák, Ph.D. The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the elaboration of partial documentation for the execution of a four-storey administrative building on plots no. 833/3 and 833/6 in the cadastral area of Vítkovice. The documentation has been prepared in accordance with the applicable Decree No. 131/2024 Coll., on Construction Documentation. The new building serves as office facilities for Česká průmyslová zdravotní pojišťovna and is located in the Urban Conservation Zone of Ostrava-Vítkovice. It is functionally connected to the existing adjacent building of the investor on all above-ground floors. The basis for the elaboration of the bachelor's thesis was an architectural study developed in the course Studio Work 2, academic year 2023/2024, supervised by Ing. arch. Radim Václavík. The study was subsequently further developed in the course Studio Work 5, academic year 2025/2026, supervised by Ing. arch. Pavel Řihák, Ph.D., in cooperation with the consultant for building construction Ing. Marcela Halířová, Ph.D. The bachelor's thesis comprises a text part and drawing documentation. The text part consists of an accompanying report, a summary technical report and a technical report. The appendices contain the drawing documentation of the designed building. The specialisation of the bachelor's thesis is architecture.
