Abstract
The diploma thesis focuses on creating urban conditions for a new square in Brno. The proposal for the square includes a new art house and the conversion of the former warehouse, Malá Amerika. The diploma thesis offers an alternative to the current urban development on the Brno's Ringstrasse and aims to promote the growth of the city's significance in this previously peripheral area.
