Abstract
Diploma thesis deals partly with the utilization problematic of available and currently used materials and partly with the steel construction fire prevention types. One part of the work pertains to general terms. Other part has been divided into separate sections according to fire protection types including the specification of few factual products in every category. The author also uses a factual fire prevention example. The latter shows how to proceed starting with steel construction characteristics, following fragment resistance calculations, a fire load assessment and fire examination of said fragment. Lastly is presented a particular fire protection model for given steel construction.
