Vyztužování zemin pomocí pneumatik

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to show the possibility of using scrap tires in geotechnical engineering, where the waste tires are used as a reinforcing material. The main part of the thesis deals with the application of whole tires in structures. There describe all structures where can be applied discarded tires as retaining walls, slope reinforcement of roads and banks, protection wall, etc. Also is covered the use of compressed bales of tires in road construction on soft ground. This work includes the calculation of settlement of soft soil layer under the embankment and comparison.
