Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to acquire the necessary knowledge and background for the design and implementation of a software program for accurate measurement of relative humidity, dew point and temperature measurement of the environment in laboratory applications. In the theoretical part of this work we will get to know the definition of temperature and their distribution, the definition of moisture and moisture types, as well as the methods of moisture measurement. The implementation of the program consists of a sensor module from Sensirion with the type designation EK-H5. Sensirion also includes a SHT21 sensor based on the capacitive type of humidity sensor, temperature sensors, amplifier, A/D converter and memory. The application is capable of evaluating humidity measurement with accuracy of 1% RH, in real time, also to calculate dewpoint with measured values and ambient temperature sensing with accuracy of 0.1 °C. When data is processed, the maximum, minimum, and average values are calculated in real time. Part of the application is also plotting real-time measurement values in the graph and saving the .xlsx file where the measured data is stored, and then other data processing and visualization options.
