Analýza zdrojů financování basketbalového klubu NH Ostrava, z.s.

Abstract

The theme of this thesis is the analysis of sources of financing a basketball Club NH Ostrava, z.s. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the sources of financing of the selected basketball club, which will lead to improvement of this activity in the future. The intention is to find out how the association finances its year-round activity. The thesis is divided into two main parts-theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is devoted to the definition of basic terms, which are related to the examined topic. It defines the concepts of management and sports management, manager, nonprofit organization or funding options. In the practical part are analysis the characteristics of the basketball club. The thesis describes the income and expenses of the club and the economic results in 2016-2018. In the end of the thesis are proposed other possible ways of financing this non-profit organization. As research methods were elected interview and SWOT analysis.
