Analýza překladu doménových jmen

Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on increasing the user's security in the Internet environment when abusing domain name translation. At the beginning of the work there is a search of existing works dealing with the current state in the field of domain name analysis. The theoretical part describes the methods of domain name abuse -- abuse by confusion an IP address and visual spoofing of a domain name. Part of the work is also testing selected security threats of domain name abuse on the most common web browsers. In the next section, I will describe the implementation of extension to the Mozilla Firefox web browser and the server part used to verify records. The output of this work is a simple web browser extension and server part to increase user security when browsing websites.
