Kriminalita páchaná seniory a na seniorech v podmínkách ČR

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of crime committed by and against seniors in the conditions of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the work focuses on seniors as a vulnerable group of the population from the perspective of crime and social status. The age curve of crime is specified, as well as the issue of ageism as a form of age discrimination. In addition, current statistics of crime committed against seniors and seniors are analyzed. It also includes proposals for preventive measures. The practical part is based on quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire survey, which examines seniors experiences with crime, their perception of a sense of safety and factors influencing their sense of safety. The research results are discussed in the context of social aging and complemented with proposals for individual and community measures for crime prevention.
