Abstract

The main purpose of the bachelor’s thesis is to get acquainted with integral and irreplacable part of electrical engineering – the power capacitor. At first, a metal – aluminium is described, which serves as a case to store the components of the capacitors. A broken aluminum case of the overloaded capacitor is being solved in the experimental part. The structure of the bottom of the case, the broken part and the intact part in the case are discussed in more detail to specify the results of this thesis.
