Srovnání vězeňského systému v České republice a vybraných evropských zemích

Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on the issue of the prison system in the Czech Republic and selected European countries. For comparison, the Slovak Republic and the Republic of Poland were selected. The target of the thesis is to compare prison systems in the Czech, Slovak and Polish Republic, to highlight selected indicators, which have a revealing character. The thesis describes problems in individual countries in the field of prison and also possible suggestions for problem solving. In the thesis is described meaning of punishment for society. Historical development of czech prisonment is obtained in the document.
