Analýza bezpečnosti silničního provozu na křižovatce Novinářská - U Stadionu v Ostravě

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to increase safety and to improve traffic flow on the roundabout Novinářská - U Stadiónu - Baarova. In the first section of the work the given intersection is analyzed. You can find here information about the surroundings and the present situation of intersection, traffic surveys, the necessary calculations, accident investigations, videoanalysis of conflict situations and visualization of traffic at the intersection in the program PTV VISSIM. The second section is focused on solving of the problems identified in the first section of the work and plans for modifications of the intersection. For these plans calculations, processing in the program PTV VISSIM are also carried out, and the choice between plans is carried out on the basis of multi-criteria evaluation. The original situation and the designed modifications are part of the drawings in the addendum.
