Návrh a realizace systému pro řízení a monitorování počítačové sítě

Abstract

The thesis "Proposal and implementation of a system for recording and monitoring of computer network" deals with a project and implementation of a system that is able to determine the availability of network elements using response and periodic monitoring of selected elements. Speaking of network computers, the system is able to control Internet access. Another important function is applied for monitoring the logged on users and computers that belong to a domain-based Windows 2003 server. Furthermore, the system can record of network elements, computers and their mutual connections. The system also keeps track of software licenses which are being subsequently assigned to individual computers. There is a visualization medium designed and implemented for the system, which will display the individual elements and their location in buildings and rooms. The system has been designed as a web application specified for the school computer network.
