Systém pro výběr dovolené na základě preferencí uživatele

Abstract

The aim of the diploma thesis was to make research the system for searching holidays after combining data from different sources. The software work was designed to correctly combine individual parts into a whole and to focus on user preferences. In the beginning, I analyzed the current situation on the travel market and focused on the exact part of users that are searching in different travel websites and services, combining different parts of the holiday and booking them on their own. This step-by-step procedure was repeating the same steps. I analyzed then and suggested an algorithm that would help the user save time and choose the right combination. It was about covering and accessing different sources of information, correctly requesting to the system and getting the responses. As the result of this work was a functional application that analyzes user preferences for vacation from different sources of information and combines ideal holiday as a combination of different travel parts into one package. Holidays are presented with the current price and the possibility of the fast booking. Visible progress is presented against systems from the past. In the past application had speed and memory limits with working on the databases. They could not combine the thousands of records from different database sources and they had to focus on a very narrow range of data. Testing the system had several problems, but the results are satisfactory. In addition to input data from the users, the system divides users into different categories according to previous search results. This clustering and classifying were made by more than one thousand records from unique users. Algorithm can use historical records and analyses to improve selection for the future searches.
