Abstract

In my bachelor thesis I have tried to give an overview of domestic sewage disposal plants as the possibility how to dispose of waste water from small pollution sources up to 50 EO. Legislative requirements connected with this problem, a treatment description of domestic sewage disposal plants and a basic type of domestic sewage disposal plants are described in this thesis. Obligations of sewage disposal plants owners, a maintenance difficulty and operation costs are highlighted. Then the brief overview of other methods of waste water disposal using a sink, a septic tank and a root zone wastewater treatment plant and their operation costs are described. Finally, an importance of waste water treatment and their impact on the environment are mentioned.
