3D laserové skenovanie orloja v Starej Bystrici

Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the application of 3D laser scanning in documenting the astronomical clock located in the village of Stará Bystrica in northern Slovakia. The astronomical clock represents a significant architectural and cultural monument, whose complexity required precise geodetic data collection methods. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the principles of laser scanning, spatial polar method, and photogrammetry. The practical part describes the application of these technologies in the field, the processing of collected data into vector and mesh models, the visualization of results through animation, and the subsequent comparison of data accuracy between the individual methods.
