Abstract
The topic of the bachelor thesis is the analysis of accounting system and taxation process in the selected business company. The thesis consists of one theoretical chapter which is dealing with the legal definition of accounting and tax system in the Czech Republic. The third chapter describes the selected business company and its accounting system. The fourth chapter focuses on applied taxes in a selected business company. The chosen business company for the bachelor thesis is Veolia Energie ČR, a. s., This company is the producer and supplier of heat and power.
