Abstract

This bachelor’s work is about using information systems in industrial enterprises. The meaning, development and division of information systems are briefly described in this work. The main part is devoted to enterprise resource planning systems of category ERP with which it is possible to effectively plan and manage all key enterprise processes on all levels. The function of IS MS Dynamics AX from Microsoft used in HOBES, spol. s r.o. is described in this part of the work. The production module is described in detail. The conclusion is devoted to evaluation of the possible risks when choosing and implementing a new information system and also referring to new trends in development of information systems.
