Abstract
The thesis deals with cost calculation and budgeting in building industry. The aim of the thesis is to explain costing and budget issues and employ them in particular contracts of a building company. The aim of the practical part is to introduce a building company and two of its contracts. The practical part uses theoretical knowledge of costing and budgeting and practical use of calculations and budgets of two particular contracts.
