Abstract

The thesis is focused on changing drives rotation of the upper construction excavators to K2000. It describes the initial state drives that use for their activities motors, and deals with the design of new solutions with asynchronous motors. The meaning and use of asynchronous machines currently undergoing a constant expansion. Among the most widely used electric motors with high efficiency, and are used for various types of actuators, because they are structurally simple and inexpensive to manufacture them. Due to the low maintenance operation is one of the most reliable electric motors. They are used for example in pumps, fans, compressors, conveyor belts, elevators, cranes, etc. This growing trend can also be applied to older machines that were equipped with DC motors, as is the case for the drive rotation of the upper construction excavator at K2000. In this work marginally touch and describe the power of these engines, which provide direct resp. Siemens AC drives.
