Abstract
The bachelor work deals with the cost of securing compulsory education in the town of Šumperk. In the theoretical part of the thesis deals with the characteristics of the town, primary schools and the municipalities for basic education. The practical part is focused on the analysis of these costs in the years 2006 - 2010. Based on the results of an assessment of costs and proposals witch are designed to save these costs.
