Abstract

The prague subway is the largest undeground construction in the Czech republic. On the gradual realization of individual metro lines can be observed development and improvement of technical and technology progress for geotechnical problems. The subway station Nádraží Veleslavín is another advance in the progression of underground structures in urban area. It is the first three aisle subway station implemented by the New Austrian tunnel method. On the construction was implemented several innovative processes and materials. These were mainly about gradual excavation individual profiles, spray-aplied waterproofing membrane, transition details, feeler sheets, monolithic constructions of large dimensions in underground.. Excavaction was conducted in complicated engineering-geological environment. Geotechnical problem is presented on a mathematical model.
