Abstract

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to determine whether human capital can have an impact on the economic level of countries NAFTA. Human capital is measured through various indicators, which are provided in empirical studies of economists, who have dealt with effects of human capital. The aim of this thesis is examined through correlation analysis, which expressed the interdependence of selected measuring human capital and economic level. Interdependence between the medium length of educational and GDP per capita reaches high value of Pearson correlation coefficient, suggesting a high direct linear dependence. Between public spending on education total GDP and economic level there interdependence only in Mexiko. In Mexiko public spending on education total GDP can mean a far greater role than in Canada and USA.
