Abstract

This master’s thesis deals with the analysis of workplace and subsequent application of the principles of lean manufacturing at KES - kabelové a elektrické systémy, spol. s r. o. company. The theoretical part is devoted to explaining basic concepts, summary of the methodology of lean production principles and describes all forms of waste that occur in production. Based on the methods mentioned and the analysis of workplace and diary method performed, improvement proposals for workplace organization and layout of manufacturing halls were presented, discussed and evaluated.
