Abstract

The aim of this bachelor's work is to assess the effect of temperature on laser Doppler imaging device PeriScan PIM 3 System. This method which is based on a Doppler effect finds application inter alia in the diagnosis of burn traumas. That's why the conclusion of this experimental measurements should be the complement to standardization of the entire process of acquiring individual scans at the Burn center in the University Hospital Ostrava. The theoretical part of this thesis is focused on the laser optics, temperature (as a physical quantity). And also the effects of biologically active substances (drugs) will be discussed as the possible influence for measurement error. The results of experimental clinical measurements with assessing the results will be given In the practical part. There will be also suggestion of standards for measuring laser Doppler imaging with considering ambient temperature influences.
