Rehabilitace předprostoru vlakového nádraží ve Valašském Meziříčí - nové lokální centrum

Diplomová práce se zaobírá analýzou post socialistického vývoje a fragmentace města Valašské Meziříčí a následným hledáním a vytipováním strategicky vhodného místa pro upevnění a zahuštění struktury města. Diplomová práce poté podrobně řeší analýzu prostoru před nádražím ve Valašském Meziříčí nově vzniklým vymístěním provozu bývalé Křižanovy pily, a poukazuje na potenciál nové městské čtvrti. V rámci zkoumání je kladen důraz na historický vývoj oblasti a dříve plánované propojení historického centra s železniční stanicí, který ale nebyl nikdy realizován v důsledku válečných intervencí. V projektu je pak dále řešen návrh objektů nového lokálního centra, kde jejich umístění, funkce a výsledná forma vychází ze závěrů zkoumání a reaguje na současné potřeby města.

Diploma thesis deals with analysis of post social development and fragmentation of the city of Valašské Meziříčí and subsequent finding and selecting a strategically suitable place to consolidation and densification of the city´s structure.

The diploma thesis then deals in detail with the analysis of the area in front of the railway station in Valašské Meziříčí, newly created by the displacement of the operation of the former Křižanovice saw, and points to the potential of the new district. In the context of the study, emphasis is placed on the historical development of the area and the previously planned interconnection of the historic center with the railway station, which has never been realized because of war interventions. The project further solves the design of objects in the new local center, where their location, function and final form is based on the conclusions of the research and responds to the current needs of the city.
