Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with "Implementing the SMED method for longitudinal welding lines". The aim of this work is to analyse the current state of setting of the welding line to a different production in the company Witzenmann Opava, spol. s r.o. and design and implement a new resetting process, including evaluation of its benefits. The theoretical part of the thesis contains a description of the company Witzenmann Opava, spol. s r.o., summarizes current methods and approaches in the field of work rationalization, including a summary of wastage areas. The practical part involves an analysis of the current state of resetting of welding lines and on the basis of SMED analysis proposes a new process of resetting, based on a practical pilot test of resetting.
