Abstract
This bachelor thesis addresses the quality of receiving a digital terrestrial television broadcasting. The spread of digital television signals from terrestrial transmitters is described in the introduction of the theoretical part. The frequencies of channels intended for digital television terrestrial broadcasting are also listed. The theoretical chapters deal with the DVB standard, especially with the DVB-T. These are the basic features and operating principles, advantages and disadvantages, a brief history, etc. The practical part focuses on measuring the impact of antenna rotation and the influence of the antenna height above ground level to receive television signals. Parameters such as signal level, modulation error ratio and bit error rate, ie the parameters for determining the quality of the received signal, were measured and graphically processed. Also, a subjective evaluation of the quality of the received signal was made. The measured values are evaluated in the conclusion.
