Abstract
The aim of this thesis was to determine the health effects due to occupational exposure to substances with toxic properties for the purposes of the SEA according to regulation under REACH. For a case study determining the health effects has been selected substance quinoline, which is currently expected to be included in the list of substances of very high concern. In the practical part was evaluated the risk of occupational exposure and then set probabilistic estimate of the negative effects of exposure to health, which was specifically liver cancer. Determination of medical costs was then performed using the direct health costs. Part of this work is a discussion where they are defined uncertainties entering the trial and identified the problematic aspects of the evaluation that affect the assessment of health impacts.
