Optimalizace nakládání s odpady na VŠB-TUO

Abstract

The theoretical part of this thesis is devoted to the current state of waste management at VSB-TUO. In this section, the applicable legislation regarding waste management, the concentration of waste at the university, the keeping of waste records and the fees related to this issue are discussed. The practical part of this work is devoted to the analysis of municipal types of waste – mixed municipal waste, paper and cardboard waste (these are jointly concentrated components of waste, according to the exception), plastic waste and paper waste. Furthermore, in the practical part, attention is paid to refused-derived fuel and coffee grounds. The final part of the work is devoted to the optimization of waste management at VSB-TUO. It mentions possible ways of concentrating waste, possibilities of reducing waste production, the importance of educating students and employees, and marginally mentions the possibility of waste treatment directly at the university.
