Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals mainly with the deformation resistance and especially with the possibilities of its prediction. The theoretical part is devoted to a general description of the concept of deformation and natural deformation resistance, then to the possibilities of experimental determination of deformation resistance and last but not least to the individual mathematical models enabling the determination of the deformation resistance beyond the conditions investigated experimentally. The experimental part is then focused on a detailed description of the investigated ChN35VT steel and their mechanical properties, describing the course of the experiment, in which the prepared steel samples will be subjected to a series of uniaxial compression tests on a Gleeble 3800 plastometer under a combination of different deformation temperatures and strain rates.
