Abstract

The aim of this thesis is study of the social networks, which involves the concepts of social network, social ties, network and its elements features, algorithms, designed to calculate network features, etc. Furthermore, to introduce the social network platforms like Facebook and Twitter, obtain the data from their APIs for their analysis. Social network analyse brings a brighter view to social ties, by their graph visualization, view of the comunities and their common characteristics and interests by clustering algorithms, specification of relevance of every each person in social network according to centralities and other ranking algorithms.
