Abstract
This thesis is focused on theoretical and experimental elaboration of biodegradation of polluted soils and sludges.
Biodegradation is a technology that uses microorganisms to clean polluters from enviroment. Instead of separate strains various mixtures of strains is being used practically. Ability of microorganisms to degrade hydrocarbons is well know since the end of 19th century. As was discoverd later, not only germs but also yeasts and filamentous fungi are able to degrade hydrocarbons too.
Thesis consists of delimitation and process of biodegrading technologies including their laboratory verification on respective samples. Laboratory verification had been carried out on sludge samples, on which mixture of Pseudomonas putida and Rhodococcus sp. was used.
